RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Pediatrician or a Full-Spectrum Family Medicine Physician for an outpatient clinical opportunity within the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group Primary and Specialty Care network in Belleville, NJ and Kearny, NJ.
Both locations are ideally situated just minutes from Manhattan, providing easy access to major transportation hubs, rapid rail, and bus options. This region is a prime location for those seeking a perfect balance between vibrant suburban community living and immediate urban accessibility. We are looking for a clinician with a passion for comprehensive care and community medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care (Pediatrics Track): Provide high-quality primary care services to pediatric populations at our designated office.
- Clinical Care (Family Medicine Track): Provide comprehensive, full-spectrum primary care services to patients of all ages—from newborns and infants through adulthood—at our designated outpatient office.
- Network Collaboration: Consult and collaborate with providers across the network, utilizing nearby facilities such as Clara Maass Medical Center.
- Practice Coverage: Coordinate with fellow primary care physicians to assure timely patient scheduling and effectively cover practice call responsibilities at the designated site.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active New Jersey medical license (or eligible for immediate NJ licensure).
- Board Certification: Board-certified or Board-eligible in Pediatrics or Family Medicine.
- Passion for Care: A strong passion for providing high-quality care to a clinically diverse patient population.

- Fluent in Spanish a Plus!
Compensation and Benefits
We offer an extremely competitive compensation package plus a robust benefits portfolio, including:
- Anticipated Salary Range: $224,994 to $359,000 per year (dependent on educational background, skills, and professional experience).
- Health Coverage: Comprehensive Health Insurance.
- Malpractice: Malpractice Insurance (with tail coverage).
- Retirement: 401(k) with company match.
- CME Allowance: $4,000 annual stipend for CME, Board certifications, and Society Memberships.
- Residency Stipend: Up to $24,000 for current trainees who sign during their final year of residency.
